Orphan children often fall prey to social and cultural deprivations due to lack of adequate education and upbringing, some even become rebellious and turn to antisocial activities. The Child Rights and Protection procedures detailed in this section are in place to ensure the safety and welfare of children, and to offer them protection from exploitation or abuse.

Sponsoring an orphan will:

  • Ensure the child's security with a family
  • Make sure they receive a good standard of education
  • Support their welfare progress and provide access to medical care
  • General and social well being

With your help, HRF want to ensure each orphan within the program is given special care during their most vulnerable early years, and work towards a great opportunity for a better future Orphan children often fall prey to social and cultural deprivations due to lack of adequate education and upbringing, some even become rebellious and turn to antisocial activities.

HRF addresses these many diverse aspects for an orphan child and aims to provide Orphans with family love & warmth, social stability & dignity, and fundamental well being.

HRF-Haji Rafique Foundation has adopted the Qur’anic guidance within its Orphan welfare Project. We understand the importance of providing good treatment and responsibility towards orphans.

Children’s Charter

Haji Rafique Foundation is fully committed to protecting the security, privacy and dignity of its orphans and their families.

The Child Rights and Protection procedures detailed in this section are in place to ensure the safety and welfare of children, and to offer them protection from exploitation or abuse.

HRF’s policies are in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). Agreed in 1989, the CRC is the most widely accepted human rights treaty for children.  It was ratified by every country in the world, except two.

Child Protection Statement

The location and family name of a child will be withheld.

Haji Rafique Foundation will not publish or make public the address, telephone number or e-mail contact of any of the children or their families.
 
Sponsorship is based on the agreement that donors will not attempt to contact the orphan or their family by any means.
 
For obvious safety reasons, sponsored children cannot be brought to the donor’s country for visits.
